Lasers are changing the dental industry radically for practitioners and patients. Modern dentistry incorporates laser technology. At this course you will learn about the developments of lasers in dentistry, what laser technology is achieving clinically, what studies are reporting, and how it is saving time. We will also addresss how it rapidly speeds up recovery, how it expands the dentist’s clinical repertoire, how it enables minimally invasive techniques compared to using only traditional tools, how it is changing the perception of the dentist causing less pain, using fewer sutures, fewer needles, as well as less need for chemicals and medication. To help general dentists and specialists gain a practical understanding of the technology, the course includes demonstrations and hands-on experience with lasers. Participants will be able to test the Biolase Er,Cr:YSGG lasers (Waterlase iPlus and Express) and 940 nm diode lasers (Epic X and Epic Pro).

  • The course qualifies you to write the World Clinical Laser Institute Diode Exam. Upon passing, you receive your Associate Fellowship Certification.
