About the course
Would you like to gain hands-on experience in the complete 3D printing workflow? Are you a dentist, a nurse or hygienist? Doesn't matter. You will learn how to effectively manage the 3D printing workflow, from digital design to final product. Enhancing patient treatment - and your own professional development. We will cover essential topics such as the use and maintenance of the 3D printer, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
The course will include practical sessions on printing dental splints and temporary crowns, as well as advanced techniques for characterizing these prints through staining and glazing, candy coating splints, enabling you to produce high-quality, customized dental appliances.
The course is taught in easy understandable English and if you have a question you want to ask in Danish - we will gladly help translate and ensure you get the answer you need!
During the course you will learn:

Setting up the Sprintray printer - connecting to the network etc.
Environmental and Personal Precautions - Gloves masks etc.Â
Clean up scan natively in scanner software and the why around that
Understand the 3D Printing Process - how does it work
Designing and printing
Dental CAD Solutions for a Dental Practice - Overview of cloud, 3shape and any other design programs that are easy
Inhouse design studios and exporting files - 3shape/ medit software
Nesting onto the platform and print set up
Demonstration on the rayware software vs the cloud software.Â

Digital Scans - We will scan a volunteer delegate and produce 2 splints via AI

Post-Processing 3D Printed Dental Appliances - simple stain and glaze / polishing techniques and candy coating a splint.
