About the course
Material selection and cementation protocols for veneers
Â
In modern restorative dentistry, material selection and precise cementation protocols are crucial for achieving both esthetic excellence and long-term success. This course provides a comprehensive overview of three widely used materials in anterior restorations—zirconia oxide, lithium disilicate, and feldspathic veneers—each with its own strengths, limitations, and cementation requirements.
Â
Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of material indications, preparation techniques, and cementation protocols - also vi a live demos. The course will cover essential aspects such as preparation designs, monolithic versus layered restorations, and proper adhesion techniques to ensure predictable outcomes. Additionally, common complications and troubleshooting strategies will be discussed, equipping clinicians with the knowledge to enhance their daily practice.
Â
Through a combination of theoretical lectures and live-demonstration, attendees will learn how to make evidence-based decisions in material selection, ensuring optimal esthetics and durability. The practical session will focus on zirconia full crowns, allowing participants to refine their skills in cementation protocols, including retraction cord placement, resin self-adhesive cement application, and post-cementation control.
Â
By the end of the evening, attendees will be equipped with the confidence to apply standardized clinical protocols, improving both efficiency and outcomes in their restorative treatments.
During this evening course you will learn:
Indications and limitations of each material commonly used in dentistry to solve esthetical situations with indirect restorations anteriorly
How to choose which material fullfills the esthetical needs of your clinical situation the best
Easily adapted clinical protocols for cementation/adhesion of zirconia full crown and lithium disilicate veneer
Â
Â
The Live demonstration will show both delivery protocols for:
a lithium disilicate veneer (adhesive protocol)
a full zirconia oxide crown (cementation protocol)
